Disengaging the autosteer function

The autosteer function is automatically disengaged if the necessary conditions for operation (shown in Autosteer Status screen) are no longer met.

To disengage the autosteer function manually:

• Turn the steering wheel a few degrees OR
• Press the autosteer On button on the console to disengage the function, OR
• if using the external autosteer switch, use this switch to disengage the function.

WARNING: Before leaving the vehicle, disengage the autosteer function, turn off the relative switch and remove the key.

Note: A visual and audible alarm is activated every time the autosteer function is disengaged. The volume can be adjusted.
